Travel Wish List

2020 has been a terrible year for travel. Many states and cities are in quarantine and are restricting the amount of travelers. I know that we have not gone anyway this year. At one point, my work was restricting travel for employees unless it was essential. I am really hoping that 2021 can be a travel year for us.

There are so many places just in the continental United States that I would love to see. Living in the Midwest makes it about the same drive time no matter where we decide to go really.

Here are my top 5 place in the United States I would love to visit:

  1. Grand Canyon, I have always wanted to visit this place. The pictures I have seen of it look amazing. The landscape against the vast sky, just show how great God really is. I am not an outdoorsy kind of girl at all, but the hiking there looks like lots of fun. And rafting down the rivers!! Yes, please

  2. Savannah Georgia, another gorgeous destination. The Spanish moss growing on the Oak trees lining the streets. Beautiful architecture, and Southern charm. I love history and all things southern, so this place is perfect.

  3. Sanibel Island, the island of sea shells. This island is miles of beach, covered in sea shells. Almost like a tropical paradise, but without the extended flight. I love the idea of being able to stay at a brightly colored little cottage, right on the beach. I can just imagine waking in the morning, walking out to the patio and drinking my coffee on the beach, listening to the waves.

  4. Texas, I really am not sure exactly what about Texas that fascinates me, but it has been on my list for quite some time. From the Gulf of Mexico, Route 66, the Alamo and Jacob's Well, there is so much to do here.

  5. Taos, New Mexico, this little town just looks old world charming. Epic Pow Wows, historic old churches, and streets after streets of vendors selling homemade goods. I imagine camping there would be so much more fun as well.
